The sombrero flick as a survival tool
A sombrero lifts the ball over an opponent while you keep moving through, and the official framing positions it as an escape rather than a highlight: the move exists to get out of tight situations. In a game where every defender is human and the jockey stance makes crowding you a coordinated activity, an aerial escape valve has obvious value. Ground feints stop working when there is no ground to feint into; putting the ball over heads is the answer the kit sells.

Midfield playmakers who receive under pressure and hate giving the ball away. If your typical death is being swarmed by two defenders the moment you receive, this kit addresses your actual problem. Pivots and central midfielders in 5v5 live in exactly those pockets. Wingers who face one defender at a time on open grass will usually get more from Phantom’s deception tools instead.
