Customization

Customization, look sharp, stay honest

Cosmetics are the entire business model of Strikers Club, which makes them worth documenting properly: what you can change, what colors cost, and what is genuinely free.

The one rule behind every cosmetic

The v0.79.0 monetisation vision states the design constraint plainly: cosmetics are grounded but do not always conform to strict football regulations, and the rule the developer refuses to break is keeping team association clear. That is why jerseys only accept a detail color while their primary and secondary stay team colors, and why some cosmetic colors are limited. Style never gets to confuse who is on whose side. The same document promises cosmetics never grant gameplay advantages, and that some can be earned free with Fame, the currency from quickplay matches.

The pipeline has moved fast: customization debuted in Playtest 5 (May 2026), v0.78.0 added preview support and character rotation in the editor, v0.79.0 shipped the color and palette system with hair colors, v0.80.2 rebuilt the purchase flow and added jersey numbers, and v0.82.0 kept adding items through launch week. Team colors for clubs are promised for a later Club update.
